Let’s get it together on protection for all

Migrants represent much of Australia’s present and future vitality yet right now bear a disproportionate burden of the COVID pandemic. It’s a disturbing reality that many migrants are not on an equal footing with other Australians when it comes to responding to coronavirus.

For reasons such as language barriers and socio-ecoomic circumstances, Australia’s migrant people are at greater risk of contracting COVID. Many work in exposed jobs and/or fail to hear how they can avoid infection and get the right medical advice.
